When Sarah studied for her RHS certification she had gardened for many years without weedkiller. Since childhood she has been fascinated with fruit and flowers, woodland and wild lands. 

She was selling houseplants outside William Burke and Son on Chatterton Road, Bromley when the COVID experiment began. Soon after the plant stall closed she was swamped with requests for plants, compost and gardening services. 

Peace, Love and Plants has a customer base of people who are willing to learn other ways to deal with weeds, frazzled lawns and overgrown gardens - no spray, never. 

This company has managed large swathes of land on estates, set up orchards with grafted fruit trees, installed wildflower meadows and stunning prairies. They care for gardens of all sizes whilst considering the impact their practices have on the wider environment. 

It is understood that most growers use chemical control in their glasshouses. Few natural methods growers exist. 

When we acquire plants for our gardens, they are handled organically from then on.
